Hey, I’m Hrishti. I help create experiences and spaces that talk.
National Gandhi Museum
ROLE
Initial Layouts
Spatial Restraint
controlled lighting and limited colour to create focus, not spectacle.
Texts are given breathing room
walls are not crowded, margins are visible.
Materials feel honest and tactile (wood, paper, cloth), reinforcing writing as practice
Orientation & Flow
The space encourages slow movement
Sightlines allow visitors to pause and look across texts and images, mirroring commentary rather than narration.
Seating or standing points invite reading, not passing through.

Final Concept
Conceived as a walk through Gandhi’s working mind. It draws from the atmospheres of spaces where Gandhi wrote: his ashram, his study, and the printing presses not as literal recreations, but as intellectual and ethical conditions. These are spaces of solitude, discipline, circulation, and risk, where thought was shaped into words and words entered public life.
